Accessing online databases

Follow these steps to access dozens of online databases
- Go to the Thames Valley site and select "Students" from the menu bar
- Select "Student Resources"
- Look at the links in the left-hand menu bar and select one of the following
- "eLibrary - main Portal" for access to "Curriculum Edition Canada" and other databases—e.g. CPI.Q is a Canadian periodicals database. If accessing from home: username = research; password = bigchalk
- "Knowledge Ontario - Gale & Thomson" contains 36 databases and allows a search through more than 73 million documents: password "trillium"
- "Knowledge Ontario EBSCO," which leads to "Student Research Centre" or "EBSCOhost" (not sure yet if you can access this from home)
